De Bruyne signs for Napoli after Man City exit
Kevin De Bruyne is heading to Serie A. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed on Thursday that the club has signed the Belgian playmaker on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who left Manchester City after 10 trophy-laden years, has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with an optional third season. He’ll join Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay in a revamped Napoli squad.
Despite recent injury struggles, De Bruyne’s pedigree remains unquestioned — with six Premier League titles and a Champions League medal in his collection.
Napoli, fresh off a dramatic title win over Inter, now aim to conquer Europe too, with De Bruyne set to play a central role.
